SHIP Music Festival 2026!

SHIP Showcase Festival in Šibenik, Croatia makes the rounds for its fourth edition, running through September 10-13 in 2026. The festival will once again unfold across six stages throughout a city that has quickly become synonymous with good music (Tunel, House of Art Arsen, Azimut and St. Michael’s Fortress).

Since launching, SHIP has grown into one of the region’s most closely watched discovery-driven festivals. After three successful editions, the festival has positioned itself among the most exciting music events in the region, and last year’s open call alone drew more than 1,300 artist applications, proof that SHIP has been heard of all over Europe and beyond. The 2025 edition brought together 114 speakers from 33 countries and more than 650 music professionals from 54 countries around the world, reinforcing its growing international visibility, with coverage from outlets including Rolling Stone UK, Clash, IQ, and The Line of Best Fit.

It isn’t a festival built around the bands you already love, but a place to fall in love with the ones you’ll discover for the first time. Performances take place across the historic St. Michael’s Fortress overlooking the Adriatic, the multipurpose House of Art Arsen, and Šibenik’s beloved Azimut club, with additional sets at the Tunel venue.

The 2026 artist roster spans an impressively wide sonic range, pulling acts from across Europe and beyond. Confirmed names include MK-born art pop artist Elena Vasova, UK post-punk acts DOSS and MORN, French afro-folk and reggae artist Mariaa Siga, Icelandic indie folk performer RAKEL, and a strong Croatian contingent including Fargo, Sara Renar, Macha Ravel, and Eleven, alongside grime and UK rap newcomer JayaHadADream, Berlin-based neo soul/jazz-rap act Sorvina, and acid techno/trance project vv8 from France. The full lineup leans heavily into genre-crossing discovery, with electronic, post-punk, jazz, hip-hop, and world music acts all sharing stages across the four days.

The accompanying conference draws industry professionals from across the global music business. Confirmed 2026 speakers include Alan Pedder of The Needle Drop, Anna van Nunen representing ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag), Ruth Barlow of the Beggars Group, Sigtryggur Baldursson of Iceland Music, Dario Draštata representing IMPALA, Runda, and Dallas Records, Filip Košťálek from Colours of Ostrava, and Tineke Codron of Square 1 Support, among others spanning labels, festivals, and music media from Greece, Poland, Romania, the Netherlands, and beyond.

Tickets for the 2026 edition are already on sale via Entrio.

Taksirat Festival began as a small event (300–400 attendees) to address dissatisfaction with Macedonia’s cultural scene. Named after the Turkish word “taksirat” (meaning “misfortune”), it now hosts global stars and over 10,000 visitors, proving challenges can inspire growth, learning, and meaningful connections.
