The “Fever Dream” Festival is a dynamic, one-day multidisciplinary cultural event designed to celebrate Pride Month, elevate the visibility of queer culture, and reclaim public spaces for LGBTIQ+ artistry in Montenegro with the guests from the region. Taking place in the multifunctional venue of the Biro Bar and Club, the festival bridges political activism, contemporary theater, and queer nightlife. The festival’s backbone is the premiere of the play “Museum of Danton’s Women”, an engaged feminist and queer reinterpretation of Georg Büchner’s classic, which tackles the oppression and resistance of women’s bodies in patriarchal Montenegro. The festival is co-created and implemented by Queer Montenegro and Association Spektra as a partner.
