The Her Frame project, addressing gender inequality in media arts and film across the Western Balkans, has launched an open call for young female artists and directors seeking to develop their skills through online workshops and a mentorship programme.
Workshops will be led by renowned film professionals: Sanja Poštić (screenwriting for animated film), Dina Duma (directing), Bojana Andrić (cinematography), and Dragana Tešić (distribution), along with a joint session focused on project presentation and the challenges women face in the film industry.
The programme also includes conferences, masterclasses, individual mentoring sessions, and a final presentation of the most successful projects in December in Novi Sad.
The call is open until 9 June 2025, and is intended for women from the Western Balkans, aged 18 to 35, who are at the beginning of their careers in the film industry.
